The Royal Navy International Air Day aims to be as accessible as possible to ensure everyone can enjoy the event equally. The showground has plenty of space for your party to set up a ‘base’ for the day to enjoy the flying displays. There is no essential need to be able to view the runway.
However, we understand that some Air Day visitors who require assistance may be attending on their own or with an accompanying carer. To make their visit more comfortable, the Sea King Enclosure is a free of charge outdoor enclosure (no shelter) with the following facilities:
Tables and chairs
Naval Personnel and Cadets on hand to assist, if required
Enclosure wristband to enter and leave the enclosure as you please during the day
Spaces are very limited and subject to strict eligibility. Please note:
Admission tickets must be purchased in addition.
Access to the enclosure is restricted to the visitor and ONE carer only.
Pre-booking is essential and to avoid disappointment please complete the Sea King Enclosure application form which will also allow you to purchase your admission tickets. If you have already purchased admission tickets, you will need your booking reference number to complete the form.
